Sam Garwood, Jr owns and operates Garwood Equestrian Center. Sam Garwood is a third generation horseman who has ridden horses his whole life. Sam competes in dressage, saddle seat and western disciplines where he has earned many awards at the national and world levels. Sam also takes time to trail ride and camp with his horses.

Flying W Farms Princess Calista is Sam's current dressage horse. Calista is a 6 year-old mare who is competing in 3rd level. Calista has scored in the 70's and continues to impress judges and fans alike with her talent and personality.

Linda Garwood operates Horse Rides by Linda at Garwood Equestrian Center. Linda is an accomplished horsewoman as well as an outstanding example. Linda has been recognized as a Special Olympics Equestrian Coach, top 10 business women in Davidson County, Sunday school teacher for over 30 years and a wonderful mom of 4 children.
